How It Started

THE IMAGES OF KLMOORE PHOTOGRAPHY started as a result of my Dad.  Growing up, I
watched him taking pictures of trains, depots, and anything railroad related.  In his retirement,
Dad started his own business selling his slides, and through the years, his pictures graced the
covers and pages of many railroad magazines and books.

Years later, as my own kids started to play sports, I wanted a way to capture those moments in
photos, as a way to document their lives.  Picking up a camera allowed me to do this, as well as
spend a little more time with my Dad learning to enjoy what he enjoyed.

Today, through the encouragement and support of my wonderful wife and family, I am pursuing
my dream full-time as a professional photographer.  I try to create visions for people to “see what
happens in a second.”

I’m very fortunate to combine my love of sports with my passion for photography, covering local
sports for my business, as a freelance photographer, and for the Gwinnett Braves Baseball Club
(AAA team of the Atlanta Braves).

I love using photography as my medium, to translate the visions I see of the world around me into
images of all kinds.  Just like my Dad, now some of my images have graced the covers and pages
of books, magazines, and various media outlets.  Thanks, Dad!
